Jason Seitz, 38, of Winslow, formerly of Loogootee, passed away Thursday, June 30, 2016.

He was born June 30, 1978 in Jasper, IN to Brenda (Osborne) Sanders and Grant Seitz.

Jason enjoyed outdoor activities such as fishing, camping, hiking and riding 3-wheelers. He also liked cars and carpentry work. He cherished time with his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his son, Jase Seitz; paternal grandfather, Harvey Seitz; maternal grandparents, James M. (Elloise) Osborne.

Jason is survived by his children, Brooke, Jonathan, Jake, Christian, Ryan and Ryder Seitz; mother, Brenda (Michael) Sanders of Oaktown; father, Grant (fiancé, Tracy Gribben) Seitz of Jasper; siblings, Kristin (Benjamin) Potts of Jasper, Natasha Seitz of Fort Branch, Valerie (Addison) Blaylock of Ft. Collins, CO., Kimberly Sanders (companion, Yeison Valdes) of Evansville and Craig Sanders of Winslow; paternal grandparents, Ruth (Gary) Myer of Jasper.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 5th, 2016 at Blake Funeral Home in Loogootee. Burial will follow in Alfordsville Community Cemetery.

Visitation will be held Monday, July 4, 2016 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Blake Funeral Home in Loogootee.
