Another damage suit was filed in the Lawrence circuit court yesterday, the fifth this week. Mrs. Maud Wray sued Dr. R. E. Martin and George Norman for $10,000. Dr. Martin, a physician of Heltonville, owned a drugstore at Norman station. George Norman was the clerk. The complaint charges that last winter Norman sold the plaintiff sulphate of zinc for Epson sales [ Epsom salts? ], part of which was given to plaintiff's baby causing its death, it is alleged, and part was taken by plaintiff causing internal injury.
