Mrs. Catherine Williamson, wife of Rev. J. G. Williamson, of Lawrence County died on February 23, 1854. She was born near Danville, Kentucky, in January 1817. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church.

Judge Alex. [consider Alexander a spelling variant] Butler of Lawrence County died last Thursday of pulmonary consumption. "He was an old and worthy citizen universally respected by his neighbors."
