Stella Palmer, aged 14, daughter of J. W. Palmer of Bedford, retired to bed the other night in good health, and in four hours afterward was a corpse. Cause, a broken blood vessel.

Lou Foote of Bedford has taken service with Josh. Howe, the jeweler. Foote is the young cornet player who created a sensation last summer during the band tournament in this place.
