Rev. Hayden Rayburn, a well known Methodist minister, died at Kokomo, Indiana, aged 84 years. He went to Indiana in 1829 from Montgomery County, Ky. His ministerial labors extended over a period of 60 years and in that time he married 1,277 couples. In 1833 he wedded Miss Matilda Johnson of Lawrence County, Indiana, who survives him. He was one of the oldest pioneer preachers in Indiana.
