HOPS TRAIN; LOSES FOOT

Bedford, Ind., Sept. 18 – Ralph Box, 22 years old, son of Mrs. Elk Creamer of this city, lost his right foot yesterday morning when hopping a Monon freight train. He missed his footing and fell. The car wheels passed over his leg crushing it so badly that amputation was necessary.
