DAVIS,
DOAN, FOX, STROUD
I am looking for information on a John Doan who
lived with (maybe not married) a Sarah Fox and had six children in the early 1800's.
Some of the children's names were: John, Riley and Jesse. Riley was born in 1820 and Jesse in
1827. Jesse married Elizabeth Davis in Bedford, Ind. They had 4 children: Caroline,
1854, William, 1856; Riley, 1860; and Jefferson Henry 1864. They may have somehow been
connected to the STROUD'S from North Carolina. (Hiram and Sarah Fox
Stroud in the 1850 census - Sarah was from NC) Hiram may have been the boys step-father.
Any information would be greatly appreciated.
