ON GERMAN RADIO BROADCAST MAY 6

Lt. Fred Bennett, a prisoner of war in Germany and a brother of Grady Bennett, reporter for the World-Telephone, made a radio broadcast from Berlin on May 6, it has been learned here. In speaking from Berlin, Lt. Bennett addressed his wife, Mrs. Agnes Robbins Bennett of Indianapolis, formerly of Bedford.

She did not hear the broadcast, but she has received several telegrams from persons who did hear it and who wired her about it.

Before his induction into the Army, Lt. Bennett was a Bedford newspaperman. The U. S. bomber on which he was a navigator was shot down in Germany on February 24.
