The pay car on the L. N. A. & C. R. R. passed up Tuesday. Under Mr. DAY's administration it never fails to come out every month.

George R. GREENE, of Mitchell, and Miss Louisa C. NEWKIRK, daughter of our Sheriff, were married at the residence of the bride's parents in this place on Thursday last. Long live all and happy be.

John ZAHN and his forces are quite busy putting up bridges, having some five or six to raise yet this fall. John is equal to the occasion.

Richard S. WALTERS, son of Dr. R. D. WALTERS, of Lancaster, Ind., and brother of W. T. WALTERS, of Bedford, died at the residence of his father, on Saturday evening last, after a tedious illness of five months. In losing him, our fellow townsman, W. T. WALTERS, loses his only brother.
