Mr. Matt Robinson, with all his movables and family, passed through our town on Tuesday on his way to the farm he recently bought of Mr. John Rosenbaum who has emigrated to Texas.

Miss Ollie Mitchell, stepdaughter of Mr. Marks, with the assistance of Miss Emma Clark is keeping house very nicely for Mr. Marks since the death of his wife.

Dr. Blackburn and family left on Monday for Petersburg, Ind., where they expect to reside in the future.

Mr. Reed Marks, who has been spending the winter with his brother in this place, is now at the old "home place" in Washington County near Salem attending a wedding, the contracting parties being his sister, Mattie, and Mr. Frank Horner. May their wedded life be full of happiness, not a cloud to cast over it a shadow nor a breeze to disturb its peaceful serenity. May Frank never have such experiences as little "Jack Horner" had, which caused him to "sit in the corner and cry."

William Harris was returned from Illinois where he has been working in the salt factories at DuQuoin.
