BEDFORD ALL DRESSED UP FOR SINGLE CAR MOTORCADE

...There was consternation among the ranks of the various committees (in Bedford) when a message was received announcing that the big motorcade in celebration of the tenth anniversary of the opening of the Dixie Highway had been abandoned at Indianapolis. The demonstration was due here at 12 o'clock and scheduled to take lunch at the Greystone. Banners were strung and the city decorated for their reception. Then word was received here that one car with four passengers would make the trip through to Miami.
