L. G. FELL–The friends of Lucien G. Fell have not heard from him for several years. The last known of him was when he left his home in Bedford, Ind., to go to White Pine during the excitement that followed the discovery of that camp.

Mr. Fell, if alive, is about 49 years old, five feet eight inches in height, square built and would weigh about 160 pounds. His hair and whiskers are quite gray.

He came to California in 1849 and spent several years in Shasta and Trinity counties, went to Fraser River during that excitement and has been back and forth to the East several times since. If any of our readers have any knowledge of him, living or dead, they will confer a great favor on his sisters in Indiana by writing to the editor of the Miner, Prescott, A. T.

Webmaster note: Read a 1913 article at this site which also deals with Lucien's disappearance.
