BOY STEPPED ON LIVE WIRE

Bedford, Indiana, August 4–Edgar McOscar, aged 13, came in contact with a live wire while entering an alley in the business district of the city and was killed. It proved to be a telephone wire that had broken from a pole and in its fall to the ground had crossed the electric light wire which carried 2,000 volts.
