William Walker married Miss Sue, daughter of Dr. Henry Lingle, all of Orleans, Indiana, on January 22, 1854.

Mrs. Mary Hoge died in Bedford at the residence of Dr. Rariden on January 30. She was born in Rockbridge County, Virginia, in February 1780. Her maiden name was Walker. When she was about 20 she married William Kelso. When she was about 50 she married Solomon Hoge, brother of Rev. James Hoge of Ohio. She was survived by two daughters.
