JAMES CHALMERS LEAVING BEDFORD

James Chalmers of Bedford, production manager for the Indiana Limestone Company, has tendered his resignation effective as soon as possible and expects to leave Bedford about the first of July for Niagara Falls, Canada, where he will enter the cut stone business.

He recently made a visit to the Canadian city to inspect the field there and was so well impressed that he decided to erect a cut stone plant as soon as possible and as soon as he is relieved of his local duties will leave to superintend operations on his proposed new venture.

Mr. Chalmers has been identified with the stone industry in Bedford for more than a score of years except for a few years spent in Canada. His successor at Bedford has not been announced.
