SUICIDES

July 4–Body of John Walcup, lately insane, found hanging to a tree near Bedford, Ind., suspended by a rope of bark; had evidently been hanging nearly a week.

September 1–Solon Bowman, aged 22, Bedford, Ind., shoots himself because some young men had made sport of him.
