Melvin Kale standing next to line of cars in 1920's.
Historical sideline: LaPorte Daily Argus, Monday, Feb. 23, 1920 Elkhart
		Truth--
"It is high time, fellow fliver fanciers and brother benzine bus
busters, that we get up a club or something to protect ourselves against the
grewsome (sic) garage gorilla, whose long lanky arms tighten themselves about
our throats just a little bit more every day. Why, according to the LaPorte
Herald, M.C. Kale, after three years in the garage business, has purchased a
downtown corner lot to hold all the cars in LaPorte. Yes, the gentleman's name
is Kale. Well, whad'dya gointa do about that?"
