Shippeeburg sits up on a rise and there is quite a view from it of the surrounding area and Wilhelm Road.
The tombstone photo's taken here were done in May 2001 when Linda Shortt, Holly Jenks, Gloria Arndt and Deanna West
were examining the cemetery. Holly along with her crew went out cleaned up the grounds a day or two later. Hope you enjoy these pictures

Family history - Bentley, Rudolphus R. (son of Joseph Bentley of New York state) There is enough census and
family information to indicate that the above tombstone reading may be in error as far as the age of death. Rudolphus appears with his father
in the 1850 federal census in Springfield, La Porte Co., Census. Joseph Bentley born about 1779, arrived sometime around 1835 in La Porte County.
By 1860 Rudolphus R. Bentley appears on the census as Ralph Bentley with his wife Beckie and two of their children, ages 5 & 3.
After Rudolphus death, Rebecca married Daniel Ott, took her two surviving children and went to Pennsylvania for a period of time.
Then all returned to La Porte County, where her son Albert Bentley wed Mary Mann and they lived out there lives here and our records indicate
Mary to be buried in Greenwood Cemetery, this county. Greenwood Cemetery office is an active office and may be contacted to se if Albert is also buried there.Harrington, Henry B. - Source: Daily Herald, Wednesday, November 8, 1893
