Mark Davis with the assistance of Helen Wildermuth repaired stones at Rossburg and Shippeeburg Cemeteries on the week of April 11, 2004. Also on hand was Pat Harris who is a member of the Pioneer Cemetery Commission and also is a part of our La Porte County Indiana Cemetery and Research Association.
Mark Davis has been employed by Pat Harris of the Pioneer Cemetery Commission to repair some of the broken stones within the county cemeteries. Please note, if cemeteries are intrusted to an association, example, Sauktown Cemetery etc., or a city cemetery such as Greenwood Cemetery in Michigan City or Pine Lake Cemetery in LaPorte, then it falls under their jurisdiction of those in charge of that cemetery to hire craftsman and see repairs are done.
