Suspect he was the s/o William B. Beeson and his first wife who died shortly after Charles birth. He is lving in the Phineas Small household in 1950. Charles Beeson married Margeret Woolever or Walever 14 Apr 1864 - Porter Co., IN. They eventually went to Kansas. This wife would have been Angeline Livingston. Sean J. Campbell Sean.Campbell@twinriversusd.org C to D---- E to F Finley/Voltz Looking for parents of Eugene (also Eugenius) Wilson Finley. He married Ada Voltz, born 1886, daughter of Richard Voltz and Ida Michow, at “Pres. Church” per marriage license issued on April 5, 1904 in La Porte County which only mentions names of groom and bride, not their parents. Bottom portion is where William H. Wilson attests to having married them on April 5. So unclear which church it was, but it may have been the Presbyterian Church of Michigan City (at the time). Lucy Soper and was a painter living in La Porte, in the late 19thC and early 20thC and James O'Brien m. Sarah ? also in La Porte in the same period. I suspect they were brothers of my great grandfather who emigrated from the U.S. to Australia in the 1860s. Tobias Miller, b. 10 Mar 1818 in Indiana, was the son of Tobias Miller, Sr. (1773-1856) and Sarah Henderson (1780-1845) of Kankakee Twp., La Porte Co., IN. Tobias Miller, Jr. died 4 Jun 1861 and is buried in the Miller-Griffin Cemetery in La Porte, IN. Louisa J. Summers was b. 12 Nov 1819 in Ohio and died in La Porte, IN on 22 Dec 1844. Her parents are unknown. But the marriage record by Morley indicates the marriage was performed in the house of Reason Summers in Bertrand Twp., Berrien Co., MI. It is possible that Reason Summers was Louisa’s father—the 1840 census is consistent with this idea—but it has not been proven. Trying to prove or disprove that Reason Summers was her father. Patrick Burke at plburke@pacbell.net Terry or Terrey family - I am looking for a photo of my great grandfather, John Thomas Terrey, who was a county commissioner in LaPorte County, IN in the early part of the 20th century. He was also a secretary in the Masonic organization either during the last part of the 19th century or the first part of the 20th century. His father, Thomas Terrey, an English immigrant, may also have been a Mason in LaPorte County. They lived in Union Mills and are buried at Union Mills Cemetary. - Pat Terrey Rinderle at - rinderle@att.net U to V W to X Williams - I am searching for the death date/place/grave of Harriet Alice (jones) Williams. Been searching for a long time but can't find a clue. She was born in Ohio in March 1850. Her family moved to La Porte when she was a child. The last federal census I found her in was 1920, living in La porte City, Indiana with her brother, Thomas Jones. She was married to James Addison Williams (sometimes found as Anson in census but I am quite sure it is an error) on 3 April 1870. Children Dorey Addison Williams, Mariah (Mandy) Brown, Katherine Arilla Maxson, George B. L. Williams. Husband died 12 Feb 1910. I have not been able to locate his grave, although the funeral took place at Lamb's Chapel. Some of her family is buried in Lakeville Cemetery in Lakeville, St. Joseph County and some are buried in Riverside Cemetery, Chikaming Township, Berrien County, Michigan.
