The Growing Gary, IN Police Force
The police force has been increased by
the addition to the force of William Miller, of Gary, and LaFayette
Kessler of Crown Point. The increase in the force has permitted the
appointment of a night sergeant, a much-needed officer. About the first
of July a desk sergeant will be installed, it has not been decided who
will be appointed to fill this position.
