Note: Finding discrepancies with their "died last night"
since Emma Dumpke died (according to death index and
cemetery) March 1st, not March 5th as this weekly newspaper
is saying.
The remains of Jacob WO?SCHLAVER were interred this morning
at Oak Hill cemetery. Services were conducted by Rev.
Boecker at the German M. E. Church. The dead man's sister
and her husband from St. Louis came to attend the funeral.
The funeral of Mrs. J. P. STERLING took place this morning
at 10 o'clock from the M. E. church at East Chicago in
charge of Undertaker STEWART. The remains were laid away to
rest in Greenwood cemetery.
Emma DUMPKE, wife of Fred DUMPKE died last night at her
home, 16 Ogden Street, at the age of 45 years. The funeral
will take place on Tuesday at 1 o'clock in the afternoon at
the German Reformed Lutheran church on Sibley street.
The funeral of August MATHEWS of Rose Station, who died
yesterday at the home of his relatives on East State street
in this city, will take place in the Ross Cemetery.
Frank NEIMITZ of East Chicago died yesterday afternoon, aged
35 years. The funeral to take place tomorrow in charge of
STEWART. Father KUBACKI will conduct the services at the
Polish Catholic church.
