These are transcriptions of the Kosciusko County, IN marriage records from Books 1, 2, 3, B, C, F, G, H, I, J, K, L, M, N, N, O, P, Q, R, S, T, U, V, W, X, Y, Z and AA. Each individual is listed alphabetically, then their spouse, the marriage date and the book the marriage is recorded in. Each individual is shown twice in this file. Since these are transcriptions of hard to read handwriting look for every possible spelling of the surname you are looking for.
These records were transcribed from the 14 microfilm set of the Kosciusko County Marriage Books. The LDS filmed these records from the books located in the County Clerk's office. You can view the microfilm from any LDS FHC, they are numbered 1311128 through 1311141. The transcriptions were done by Phil Ritter and Gene Andert.
Marriage Applications were microfilmed starting with Book N (1902) and the records noted are extracted from 2 pages for each marriage. The first page is the marriage application, which includes birth dates and locations, parents names, where they were born, where the spouses currently live and occupation, and information on prior marriages, if any, for each spouse. The second page is the information on the marriage itself. Here are images from Book Y, pages 2 and 3, showing the Marriage Application and the Marriage License/Certificate.
You can order marriage licenses and applications from the Kosciusko County Clerk's Office. Addresses and pricing can be found at this site.
