Here I plan on putting up list of Knox county residents who have enlisted into the arm forces of the United States and fought  during Vietnam. This will be a slow process as I am finding the information from old newspapers and submission from users. All will be listed in a flat page, when the list gets to large for this I will break them up into a menu.

MCCLAFLIN ,ARTHUR A.  served in the  Air Force during Vietnam from 1964 to 1965

PUMMEL , KENNY  SR. Vincennes Indiana Vietnam Vet

SHOTS , CHARLES R.  SR. He served in the Air Force in Vietnam

Tapley , Vernon Estes , US Army, SFC, Retired 1984, Born Vincennes, Knox County, Indiana

Thompson, Robert W.,  Bicknell ,US Army, severely wounded in Vietnam by land mine.  Still resides in Bicknell, Indiana.

VANTLIN , HARVEY RICHARD,  Vincennes IN U.S. Army on Nov. 7, 1963 and served as a military policeman stationed at Fort Sam, Houston, Texas until Nov. 5, 1965. His duties including guarding the tomb of President Lyndon B. Johnson. He received the good conduct medal and marksman badge for pistols.He received an honorable discharge

VOGEL ,DONALD H. Vincennes Indiana US Navy Vietnam

YOCHUM , DARRELL F. U.S. Marine Corps awarded the Purple Heart for wounds he received in combat

Also Visit the Knox county section in honor of the Knox county Residents who lost their lives serving in Vietnam
