CLARENCE ‘FUZZ' WILLIAM FISHER
Clarence “Fuzz” William Fisher, 91, 1321 Willow St., Vincennes, died at 8:45 a.m. Thursday, April 12, 2007, at Willow Manor Nursing Home.
Born May 2, 1915, in Washington, he was the son of John Lester and Sara Ella (Grubb) Fisher.
Fuzz was a self-employed contractor. He was a World War II Army veteran and a lifetime member of the Disabled American Veterans.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Gertrude Candice (Manning) Fisher; his parents, John Lester and Sara Ella (Grubb) Fisher; a son, Robert Fisher; three sisters; and one brother.
Survivors include his brothers, Theodore Fisher and William “Bill” Fisher both of Vincennes; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday at Goodwin Funeral Home, 524 Broadway St., with the Rev. Michael Taylor officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
