GRAHAM FAMILY HISTORY

THE 4th-6th GENERATIONS OF THE GRAHAM FAMILY
This is a pdf document that outlines the Graham history leading to, and including, their time in Jennings County in the 1800's.

Also noted is information about the companion families in which they had intermarried. These include: SHILLIDEAY, WATSON, KING, McCaslin, RAY, JORDAN, SMITH, and SHIELDS among many others.

It will probably be helpful for other family researchers whom have hit a wall in trying to track some of these ancestors.

I am not sure I had advised that Judge Patrick Henry Shields, one of the early Indiana pioneers (1805) and a member of the Corydon Convention that wrote the Indiana constitution was a first-cousin of the James Graham buried in the Cave Dixon Cemetary c. 1823. His father was the brother of Judge Shield's mother. The Robert Watson buried at Cave-Dixon was James' uncle, (the brother of his mother).
