Item taken from the Banner-Plain Dealer, Oct. 1897-Ex. Assessor Adams of Marion Township was one of the numerous veterans from his vicinity who attended the reunion here last week. Marion Township furnished a large proportion of the soldiers from this County during the late unpleasantness.
