Stout and his family have been caretakers of this cemetery since about 1974. Stout has been compiling information on burials here and their families since 1979 using the following sources: tombstone readings, 1941 DAR tombstone readings, Dodd Funeral Home Records (Paris Crossing, Indiana), Jefferson County Health Records (Deaths), Jennings County Health Records (Deaths), obituaries and gossip columns from various Madison and North Vernon newspaper files, census records, military records, family records and interviews. If there is no stone, Stout has indicated source of information.
