John C. Pyle Born 6 September 1838, Wayne Co., Ohio Enrolled on the 22nd day of September 1864 in the 32nd Regiment of Indiana volunteer Infantry, Army of the Cumberland, and honorably discharged at Indianapolis Indiana on the 8th day of May 1865. Served at Indianapolis Feb/Mar 1865. Roll of Company F. Garrison Guards Indiana Volunteers from enrollment to December 31, 1864 reports him present. January February 1865 same report. Roll for March April 1865 and returns not on file. Mustered out on detachment, M.O. Roll of drafted men and substitutes 32nd Indiana Volunteers May 8 1865 at Indianapolis, Indiana, a private While is camp Carrington doing guard duty he contracted disease of this eyes. Cause unknown.
