Mary Eleanor McDaniel, born April 12,1885 Greene Twsp, Jay County.Daughter of Jones McDaniel b.1851 Jay County and Julia Manson b. 1845 prob.OH. Her father, Jones McDaniel, was the driver/trainer for the fire department and she grew up in an appartment above the old Portland fire station.
