WELL KNOWN MAN EXPIRES I. H. Robinson, Who Built Many Silos Here, Found on Road
Isaac H. Robinson, aged 68, retired farmer and formerly connected with the Portland Silo Company, was found lying unconscious shortly after dark Thursday night on the pavement of State road 26, four miles east of Portland, and he died that night at the Jay county hospital.
Robinson and Emanuel H. Habegger were formerly employed together in this community. They erected many silos in this community.
Funeral services were held at Portland, Saturday afternoon.
Surviving are the widow, two sons, Orville and Glenn, and two daughters, Mrs. Irma Myers and Edna, at home.
Robinson was found by John Pyle, of Bryant.
His automobile was found
in a field about two rods from the highway. The motor was running and the
lights turned on, but the clutch had been disconnected. It is not known
whether he became critically ill and fell from the automobile, or whether he
was the victim of an accident.
