Marlene Pfeifer, age 83, a resident of Portland, passed away on Tuesday,
July 4, 2017 at Persimmon Ridge in Portland.
Marlene was born on
January 14, 1934, in Geneva, Indiana, the daughter of Harold “Hap” and Mary
(Whiteman) Lehman. She retired from CTS in Berne. Marlene married Melvin
Pfeifer on April 4, 1953 and he passed away on June 10, 1989.

Elizabeth Meinerding (husband Robert) – Portland, Indiana
Melissa Roser
(husband Kenneth) – Portland, Indiana
2 Brothers: Kenneth Lehman –
Florida
Marvin G. Lehman (wife Shirley) – Portland, Indiana
2 Sisters:
Patricia Smith – Portland, Indiana
Valera Thomas – Indianapolis, Indiana
5 grandchildren, 3 step-grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren
She was preceded in death by 2 great-grandchildren
Graveside
service will be today at 4 p.m. in I.O.O.F Twin Hills Cemetery in Pennville.
