Billy D. "Bill" Michael, 83, of Bluffton, IN, passed away on Sunday,
January 9, 2022 at his home in Bluffton, IN. He was born on Thursday, July
28, 1938, in Eaton, IN. He married Sharon J. (Young) Michael on Saturday,
May 15, 1971 at the Geneva High Street Methodist Church, Geneva, IN. Bill
was a 1957 graduate of Chester Center High School. He had attended trade
school where he learned his trade as a Tool & Die maker. He had worked at
CTS in Berne, IN for 29 years and also worked for Crown in Bluffton, IN. He
formerly attended the Christian Worship Center in Fiat, IN. Bill enjoyed
reading Amish books, fishing, camping at Jellystone, eating breakfast with
the Saturday breakfast group, and spending time with his family.
He
will be sadly missed by his Wife - Sharon J. (Young) Michael, Bluffton, IN,
Son - William "Chub" Michael, Pennville, IN, Daughter - Brenda Sue (Monte)
Melick, Geneva, IN, Son - Charles Allen Michael, Bluffton, IN, 8
Grandchildren, 7 Great Grandchildren, Brother - Tom Michael, Albany, IN, and
Sister - Judy (Bill) Smith, Montpelier, IN.
He was preceded in death
by his Father - Philip Fay Michael, Mother - Gladys Irene (Knox) Michael,
and Sister - Beverly Sue Hollar.
There will be a private family
visitation.
A graveside service to celebrate Bill’s life will be at
Pennville I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Pennville, IN. at 3:00 PM on Friday, January
14, 2022 with Shawn Gearheart officiating. Interment will follow in the
Pennville I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Pennville.
