Mary June Hott, 89, a former Pennville resident died on Tuesday, May 1, 2007, at Visiting Nurse and Hospice in Fort Wayne. She was a member of the Pennville United Methodist Church and the Pennville Order of the Eastern Star. She was born in Portland on June 24, 1917, a daughter of James R. and Edna Irene (Rouch) Lanning. She graduated from Pennville High School, Class of 1935. She was married on June 25, 1939 to K. Burnell Hott, who preceded her in death on Oct. 16, 2005.
She is survived by her son Randall (Sharon) Hott of Pelahatchie, Miss., daughter Kay (David) Street of Fort Wayne, along with three grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Pennville
Chapel of Williamson & Spencer Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held
on Friday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Fred Kellogg
officiating. Burial will follow in the I.O.O.F. Twin Hill Cemetery in
Pennville. Memorials may be directed to the Pennville United Methodist
Church Memorial Fund.
