Sophia Hoskins-July 12, 1940
PORTLAND, July 11.—Funeral services
for Sophia Hoskins, 53, residing on the Blaine road, will be conducted
Friday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the Portland Nazarene church in charge of
Rev. Lura Milligan assisted by Rev. Suits and Rev. Fisher. Interment
will be at Pennville.
Mrs. Hoskins died Wednesday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the home of Rev. Suits where she was taken following a stroke at the Nazarene church Sunday evening.
Surviving are the husband, James; two daughters, Mrs. Guy Heniser of
Portland and Mrs. Virgil King of Lima, O.; one half-sister, Mrs. Lilly
Hoskins of South Bend, and six grandchildren.
