Thomas R. Hapner age 75, 205 East South Street Pennville passed away
Monday morning at his residence. He was born in his home on a farm in rural
Pennville October 8, 1935 the son of Harley and Catherine (Richey) Hapner.
He was married March 8, 1957 to Linda Friddle who survives. He was a self
employed farmer and business owner for over fifty five years. He was a
member of the Hickory Grove Church of the Bretheren south of Pennville.
Surviving are his wife Linda, one son David Hapner of Portland, two
daughters Mrs. Stan (Diane) Votaw of Decatur and Mrs. Greg (Debbie) Wilson
of Daleville, In. three sisters Betty Messner of Louisville, Ky., Linda Lee
Hapner of Fort Mills S.C. and Shirley Thayer of Marco Island, Fl. Seven
grandchildren Carolyn, Dane, Derek, Nicole, Whitney, Daron and Damen.
Funeral services will be Thursday at 10:00 A.M. in the Baird-Freeman
Funeral Home with Pastor Earl Doll presiding. Burial will be in the I.O.O.F.
Cemetery in Pennville.
