Yvonna K. “Sis” (Taylor) Cable

Yvonna K. “Sis” Cable, 61, of Montpelier, IN, passed away at 2:35 PM on Friday, October 22, 2021 at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie, IN. She was born on Tuesday, December 15, 1959, in Jay County, IN. She married George N. Cable on Friday, June 7, 1985 in Montpelier, IN; he preceded her in death in 2008. Yvonna was a 1978 graduate of Pennville High School where she was a member of the band. She attended the Heartland Bible Chapel, Hartford City, IN. She lived her early years in the Pennville area. Yvonna had worked at Smith Consulting, drove for the Amish, and was a CNA. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, doing puzzles, and crossword.

She will be sadly missed by her Father - Larry E. Taylor, Poneto, IN, Daughter - Laura J. (Justin Shouse) Cable, Montpelier, IN, Son - Adam B. Cable, Montpelier, IN, Brothers - Jeff (Irene) Taylor, Redkey, IN, William Briggs, Montpelier, IN, Sisters - Tonya Shultz, Bluffton, IN, Bonnie Wyatt, Monroe, IN, Neena (Nicholas) Charnley, Hartford City , IN, Peggy (Jeremy) Miers, Marion, IN, Shawna (Michael) Michael, Bluffton, IN, Grandchildren - Joshua G. Cable, Michael A. Cable, Christopher J. Shouse, Liam A. Shouse, Jacob J. Shouse, and Shiloh N. Shouse, Brother in Law- Clyde Cable, Cache, OK, and Sister in Law- Belinda Wermy, Cache, OK.

She was preceded in death by her Mother - Karen K. (Platt) McFarland, Husband - George N. Cable, Son - Christopher Cable, Sister - Twila Wimmer, Brother - Gary Taylor, Brother - Kevin Taylor, Sister - Penny Taylor, Father & Mother in Law- Brunner & Annie Cable, Brother in Laws- Mike, Brunner, & Clifton Cable, and Sister in Law- Rose Martinez.

Family and friends may gather to share and remember at Walker & Glancy Funeral Home 109 W Windsor St Montpelier on Wednesday, October 27, 2021 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

A service to celebrate her life will be at Walker & Glancy Funeral Home at 11:00 AM on Thursday, October 28, 2021 with Pastor Thom Rittichier officiating. Interment will follow in the Twin Hill - I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Pennville.
