Harry Taylor dies at Bluffton
Harry Orville Taylor, 72, a resident at the Cooper rest home in
Bluffton, died at 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday at the home after having been in
failing health for 1 ½ years.
He was born in Jay county on December
31, 1901 to Charles and Eva Miller Taylor and never married. He had lived in
Wells county for the past 24 years.
The funeral will be on Saturday
at 2 p.m. at the Yager funeral home in Berne with Rev. Larry Smith
officiating; burial will be in the IOOF cemetery at Pennville. Visitors may
call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. Friday.
Survivors include two
sisters-Mrs. Ted (Mary) Graham of Keystone, Ind. and Edna P. Taylor of Ft
Wayne, plus five brothers-William of Grand Rapids, Mich.; Robert of
Westport, Ind.; Charles and Paul of Berne; and Virgil of Geneva.
