Otto Zorn died Thursday afternoon at Caylor-Nickel Clinic’s continuing
care center, Bluffton, following an extended illness.
Zorn was a
retired farmer and attended the Noble Congregational Christian Church
Born Feb. 4, 1911 in Jackson Township, he was the son of Charles A. and
Mary E. (Theurer) Zorn. He was married Aug. 12, 1933, to Belva N.
(Johnston), who survives.
Surviving besides his wife are two
daughters, Mrs. S. Wayne (Norma) Newell, Marion, Ohio, and Mrs. James L.
(Carol) Somers, Kenosha, Wisc.; one brother, Howard Zorn Sr., RR 3,Portland;
one sister, Mrs. Edith Briner, RR 4, Fort Recovery; seven grandsons; and
several nieces and nephews.
Services are set for 3:30 p.m. Sunday in
the Portland Chapel of the Williamson and Spencer Funeral Home with the Rev.
Joan Waldrath and the Rev. Jack Hamrick officiating. Burial will be in
Spring Hill Cemetery at Fort Recovery.
Friends may call at the
funeral home from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday.
Memorials may be made to the
Jay County Cancer Fund.
