Larry Marchal, age 72, a resident of rural Portland, passed away on
Monday, May 25, 2020 at Celina Manor Nursing Home in Celina, Ohio
Larry was born on August 1, 1947, in Celina, Ohio, the son of Odus and
Esther (Braun) Marchal. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in Vietnam
with the 9th Infantry Division. Larry farmed in Jay County for several years
and worked for the Jay County Highway Department. He also worked for
Wallisheck Excavating, Klingshirn and Sons Trucking. He was a member of Fort
Recovery Catholic Church in Fort Recovery, Ohio, Fort Recovery VFW, the Fort
Recovery American Legion, and Salamonia Volunteer Fire Department.
Larry married Winifred Beals on April 16, 1977.

He was preceded in death by 2 brothers Thomas and Donald
Marchal
