Amy K. Nichols, age 74, a former Portland resident passed
away Thursday, September 13, 2018, at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital in
Muncie. She was a resident of Albany Health Care and Rehabilitation in
Albany.
She worked several years in housekeeping with
Preferred Family Physicians in Portland.
Amy Nichols
was born November 29, 1943, in Hartford City, Indiana the daughter of
Merrill and Nellie (Brackin) Garr. She was married September 18, 1970, to
Raymond Nichols and he passed away May 10, 1998.
Survivors Include:
2 Daughters- Lori Miller (husband-Todd), Portland, Indiana and Chrissy
Nichols, Geneva, Indiana
1 Sister- Ann Crewdson, Ft. Wayne, Indiana

Grandchildren and 1 Great Grandchild.
Funeral services
will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday in the Williamson-Spencer and Penrod
Funeral Home in Portland. Pastor Marshonda Kirtz will officiate the services
and burial will follow in the Little Salamonia Cemetery, southeast of
Portland.
Visitation will be held from 11:00am-1:00 pm
Monday at the funeral home prior to the services.
Memorials may be directed to the family to assist with expenses.
