Jeffery A. Agler, 65, of Berne, Indiana, passed away Sunday,
February 20, 2022. Born on April 28, 1956 in Decatur, Indiana, he
was the son of the late Thomas E. and Kathleen (Dubach) Agler.
Jeff was united in marriage to Mary Jane Wyatt on June 26, 1982
in Marion, Indiana and she preceded him in death. Jeff most recently
was employed with Ivy Tech Community College as an adjunct
professor. He loved reading, history, listening to music from the
60s, and baseball, especially the Detroit Tigers.
Jeff is
survived by his daughter, Joanie Agler of Berne, IN; son, Jason
Agler of St. Mary’s, OH; daughter, Alicia Agler of Berne, IN;
sisters, Terri Agler of Berne, IN, Lisa Wrightsman of Indianapolis,
IN, and Beth (Rod) Rudolph of Dumfries, VA; and three nieces and
nephews.
Visitation will be held for Jeff on Friday, February
25, 2022 from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Zwick and Jahn Funeral Home,
Yager-Kirchhofer Chapel, Berne, Indiana. A Mass of Christian Burial
will be held Saturday, February 26, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. with Father
Matthew Arbuckle officiating with visitation one hour prior at
Church of the Most Holy Trinity, 7321 E. State Road 67, Bryant, IN
47326. Burial will take place in Church of the Most Holy Trinity
Cemetery following the service. Memorial donations may be made to
Agape Respite Care.
