ROYCE SILVERS, 82, died Tuesday at Community Care Center
West, Portland. Born in Redkey, he retired from Sheller-Globe Corp.,
Portland. Surviving are a son, William of Conyers, Ga.; a daughter, Carolyn
Sherman of Grimesly, Tenn.; seven grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
His wife, Jessie O., died in 1992. Services at 10 a.m. Saturday at
Baird-Freeman Funeral Home, Portland. Calling from 4 to 8 p.m. today. Burial
in Hillcrest Cemetery, Redkey. Memorials to Moosehaven.
