Services set for Portland resident
Carol Stephenson
Services for Carol J. Stephenson, 53, 448 N. Charles St., Portland, are
set for 10 a.m. Monday in the Baird-Freeman Funeral Home, Portland, with
Pastor Mark Strietelmeier officiating. Burial will be in Green Park
Cemetery.
Ms. Stephenson died Thursday evening at Ball Memorial Hospital, Muncie,
following an extended illness.
She had been an accountant for
Preferred Medical Management in Portland, and was a member of the Zion
Lutheran Church, Cincinnatus League, and Psi Iota Xi Sorority.
Born Oct. 21, 1947, in Portland, she was the daughter of Raymond “Bob”
and Ardelle (Witt) Green.
Surviving are one son, Matt Stephenson,
Muncie; one brother, Bill Green, Sun Rise, Mo.; one sister, Mrs. Mike
(Gloria) Helms, Van Buren; and one grandson.
Friends may call at the funeral home from noon to 6 p.m. Sunday.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
