Bryant, July 1 –
Leelon C. Barber, 82, a retired music teacher,
was found dead in his home here late this afternoon. He had resided alone
since the death of his wife approximately nine years ago and had been last
seen by neighbors last Wednesday evening.
James Fitzpatrick, deputy
coroner, said death resulted from natural causes. Mr. Barber was a lifelong
resident of Jay County.
Surviving is a niece, Mrs. Ruby Margon, Long
Beach, Calif.
The body is at the Baird Funeral Home, Portland, where
friends may call. Services will be conducted Tuesday afternoon in the
funeral home. Burial will be in Green Park Cemetery, Portland.
