Martha Warnock
She worked for the welfare department for several years and attended the
West Walnut Street Church of Christ.
Born Sept. 15, 1923, in Jay County, she was the daughter of Elsworth and
Stella (Green) Banta. She was married to Max Warnock in 1945, and he died in
1972.
Surviving are one son, Donald Warnock, Hillsdale, Mich.; two sisters, Mrs.
Leland (Ruth) Godfrey, Portland, and Harriett Bishop, Sarasota, Fla.; and
two grandchildren.
Services are set for 1 p.m. Friday in the Baird-Freeman Funeral Home,
Portland, with Pastor Bruce Phillips officiating. Burial will be in Green
Park Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 3 to 8 pm Thursday.
