Donald H. Graves, 45, of Portland, grandson of Mrs. Estella
J. Bailey of Decatur, died Friday evening at the Caylor-Nickel Clinic in
Bluffton, following a brief illness.
He was a member of
the Portland Moose Lodge and had been employed for the past 12 years at the
Broderick Foundry, Muncie.
Born Nov. 12, 1929, in
Bryant, he was the son of Kenneth and Iva Bailey-Graves, and was married to
Harriet A. Lotz on July 12, 1950.
Survivors include his
wife, Harriet; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Graves; three daughters,
Mrs. James (Lou Ann) Wallischeck of Portland; Mrs. Robert (Lindy) Bailey of
Portland; Mrs. Paul (Cindy) Weitzel of Portland; one brother, Robert Graves
of Fresno, Calif.; his grandmother, Mrs. Estella J. Bailey of Decatur; and
one granddaughter.
Funeral services were held at 1:30
p.m. today at the Baird-Freeman funeral home in Portland with Rev. Kent
Keller officiating. Burial was in the Green Park cemetery.
