Imogene Cowan, age 89, a resident of Portland in Pike Township, passed
away on Sunday, April 15, 2018 at CrownPointe in Portland.
Imogene
was born on October 8, 1928, in Adair County, Kentucky, the daughter of
Walter and Myra (Elmore) Cowan. She attended Collett Church of the Nazarene
and was a member of the Eastern Star. She was a homemaker and enjoyed
gardening, canning, cross stitching, and making quilts. She married James
Cowan in 1944 and he passed away in 1993.

Preceded in death by a daughter, Jewell Sigler and a granddaughter Lisa
Gannon.
Visitation will be held on Friday from 2pm-8pm in the
Williamson and Spencer Funeral Home in Portland.
Funeral services
will be held on Saturday at 11:00am in the Williamson and Spencer Funeral
Home in Portland. Pastor Billy Stanton will officiate and burial will follow
in the Green Park Cemetery, Portland.
