 Homer Miller, 75, dies at hospital

Homer Miller, 75, of Berne Route 2, a retired farmer, died at 2:10 a.m. this morning at the Adams County Memorial Hospital after suffering a fatal heart attack. He had been taken to the hospital Friday evening.

Mr. Miller was a member of the Berne Trinity United Methodist Church.

He was born December 2, 1895, in Wells County, the son of Benjamin Franklin and Eli Elizabeth Flauding-Miller, and was married in Portland in 1917 to Luetta Houser. His wife preceded him in death in 1961.

Mr. Miller had made his home recently with his daughter, Mrs. Iva Lou Dailey of Monroe. Six children preceded him in death.

Other survivors are one sister, Mrs. Charles Reinbold of Fort Wayne; 10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 2 p.m. at the Yager Funeral Home, with Rev. Laverne Howard officiating. Burial will be in the Grand Hill Cemetery at Bryant. Friends may call at the Yager Funeral Home after 11 a.m. Sunday.
