MOTHER OF MRS. WALTER SCHUG DIES
RITES AT PORTLAND ON SATURDAY FOR
MRS. DOLLIE GARLINGER
Mrs. Dollie Garlinger, 65, died at 3:30 p.m.
Wednesday at the Jay County hospital in Portland, shortly after sustaining a
heart attack. She had been in failing health for some time. Mrs. Garlinger
was admitted to the hospital Wednesday for treatment and suffered the attack
in the hospital.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Baird
Funeral Home, where friends may call. Rev. J. H. Nall will officiate and
burial will be in Gravel Hill Cemetery.
A native of Jackson Twp., Jay
County, Mrs. Garlinger was born on Feb. 21, 1892, the daughter of John and
Mary Jane (Tucker) Myers.
Surviving are two sons, Wilson Garlinger of
Portland and James Garlinger of Sacramento, Calif.; four daughters, Mrs.
Walter Schug of Berne, Mrs. Richard Thrash of Ridgeville, Mrs. Robert Crates
of Denver, Colo., and Mrs. Virgil Huey of Bryant; 14 grandchildren; two
brothers, Eugene Myers of Pike Twp. and Morris Myers of Bearcreek Twp., and
a sister, Mrs. Eva Loy of Bryant. Two sons are deceased.
